Kolkata Police Uses Satyajit Ray's Hirak Rajar Deshe for Road Safety
The Kolkata Police made a fun video to teach people about road safety.
They used a famous old movie called Hirak Rajar Deshe by Satyajit Ray.
In the video, characters from the movie talk in rhymes to warn people about the dangers of speeding and not following traffic rules.
The video is part of a bigger campaign called Safe Drive Save Life, which started in 2016.
The police also organize a big running event called the Kolkata Police SDSL Half Marathon.
This year, it will happen on January 18 with different running distances.
The police want everyone to join and help make the roads safer.
Kolkata Police released a road safety PSA inspired by Satyajit Ray's Hirak Rajar Deshe.
The video features characters speaking in rhyming dialogue to caution against speeding and traffic violations.
The PSA is part of the Safe Drive Save Life campaign, launched in 2016.
The Kolkata Police SDSL Half Marathon will be held on January 18 with 21km, 10km, and 5km categories.
