Delhi Research Institute Upgrades Earth Science Study Tools
Imagine scientists trying to understand how the Earth has changed over millions of years!
To help them, a special school was opened in Delhi.
This school provides new tools and training for researchers.
It's like giving them better magnifying glasses to study the Earth's past.
The goal is to learn about Earth's history, find resources, and solve problems like climate change.
Researchers will study things like Antarctica to learn more about long-term changes.
The school hopes to train many young researchers, who can then share their knowledge.
The Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) inaugurated the School on Geochronology Techniques – 2025.
The school is located at the Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) in Delhi.
M Ravichandran, Secretary, MoES, launched the school.
The school aims to help understand Earth’s history and environmental challenges.
Young researchers will receive training and share their learnings.
