IBBI Revises Liquidation Forms for Simplified Compliance
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) has updated the forms used for the liquidation process.
These changes aim to make it easier for professionals to follow the rules and ensure that all necessary information is submitted correctly.
The new forms, called LIQ-1 to LIQ-4, cover every step of the liquidation process, from the start to the end.
These forms will be available on the IBBI website starting January 1, 2026, except for LIQ-2, which will be available from February 1, 2026.
During the first three months of 2026, there will be no penalties for late filings to help professionals adjust to the new forms.
All filings must be done electronically and signed digitally.
If the forms are not filed correctly or on time, the IBBI may take regulatory action.

Four forms (LIQ-1 to LIQ-4) cover the entire lifecycle of the liquidation process.
