Paradip Port Celebrates 65th Foundation Day
Paradip Port celebrated its 65th Foundation Day with a big marathon.
The 20th Paradip Marathon had 336 runners, including men and women.
The race was 14 kilometers long and started at Hanuman Temple Square.
The winner for men was Ashok Dandasena, and for women, it was Anita Das.
The Chairman of Paradip Port, P. L. Haranadh, talked about how the port has grown and its plans to become even bigger by 2030.
The event was fun and had lots of support from the community.
Paradip Port Authority celebrated its 65th Foundation Day with the 20th Paradip Marathon.
The 14-km marathon had 336 participants, including 280 men and 56 women.
Ashok Dandasena won the men's category with a time of 43 minutes 52.2 seconds.
Anita Das won the women's category with a time of 51 minutes 08.4 seconds.
Chairman P. L. Haranadh highlighted the port's growth and plans to reach 400 MMT capacity by 2030.
