Polish Minister Calls Starlink Station Fire Sabotage

Polish Minister Calls Starlink Station Fire Sabotage

A fire damaged an important Starlink internet station in Poland.

The fire burned the station’s power equipment and backup generator.

Polish Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski said he believed the fire was sabotage.

He said someone may have wanted to interrupt internet service.

The service could have been important for Ukrainian military communications.

The station was working normally again the next day.

Officials have not identified who caused the fire.

Gawkowski said some signs pointed toward a possible Russian connection, but this has not been established.

Russia has denied involvement in similar sabotage incidents.
