Leaders To Tour Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Athletes’ Village
The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games will begin on September 19.
The athletes will not all live in one traditional village.
Instead, they will stay on a cruise ship, in temporary villas, and in hotels.
IOC President Kirsty Coventry and OCA President Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani will visit the Garden Pier area.
They will meet athletes on September 20.
Teams will have welcome ceremonies with music, flags, anthems, and gifts.
A refugee team with two taekwondo athletes will also be welcomed.
Other meetings will help organizers prepare for the Games.
