Bhavish Aggarwal Pledges More Ola Electric Shares
Bhavish Aggarwal, the boss of Ola Electric, has promised more of his company shares to get loans.
The shares are worth less now, so he had to promise more to keep the loans safe.
He's using the money to help his other company, Krutrim, which makes AI things.
Ola Electric's shares have been going down, and the company is making less money.
Some people are worried because if the shares keep falling, he might have to promise even more, which could cause problems.
Bhavish Aggarwal pledged an additional 3% of his Ola Electric stake, bringing total pledged shares to 13%.
Ola Electric's stock hit an all-time low of ₹33.20 per share on 9 December.
Aggarwal used the pledged shares to secure loans for his AI venture, Krutrim.
Ola Electric's market share in electric two-wheelers dropped to 7% in November from over 50% earlier in 2024.
The company revised its full-year revenue guidance down to ₹3,000-3,200 crore due to weak sales.
