Mandrem: Three Sarpanchs and 92 Projects in Nine Months
Imagine a village called Mandrem where the leader, called a sarpanch, is like the head of the class.
In just nine months, Mandrem had three different sarpanchs!
During that time, the village approved a lot of big projects.
The new sarpanch, Robert Fernandes, was chosen without anyone else running.
He says that from now on, the village will talk about all the new project ideas together.
