Silver Prices Volatile After Record Surge
Silver prices have been going up and down a lot recently.
After reaching a record high, they dropped sharply due to some market rules changing and people selling their silver to make a profit.
Even though prices fell a lot in a short time, they are still much higher than at the beginning of the year.
Experts say this is normal and that silver will likely keep going up in the long term because there isn't enough silver to meet demand.
They advise investors to be patient and wait for the right time to buy.
Silver prices dropped sharply after reaching record highs, with COMEX silver falling over 7% and MCX silver tumbling around 6%.
The price fluctuations were driven by CME margin hikes, profit-booking, and reduced speculative positions.
Despite the recent drops, silver is still up about 155% year-to-date, highlighting a strong bull market.
Experts attribute the volatility to technical and macro factors rather than a breakdown in fundamentals.
Long-term outlook for silver remains bullish due to persistent supply constraints and robust industrial demand.
