Uttarakhand CM Dhami Launches Disability Coaching, Transfers Senior Pensions
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a programme for older people in Dehradun.
He started civil services coaching for people with disabilities.
The government also sent September pension money to nearly one million people.
The total payment was ₹147.34 crore.
Each eligible senior citizen receives ₹1,500 every month.
Dhami said husbands and wives can both receive the pension separately.
Some senior citizens and students were honoured at the event.
He also discussed old-age homes, free travel and free treatment for older people.
