Revanth Reddy Rejects Pressure, Defends Musi Project Plans

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said he would not give in to threats or political pressure.

He said people could persuade him through affection, but not by forcing him.

His comments came after Minister Konda Surekha was removed from the Cabinet.

The party’s disciplinary committee had recommended strong action against her.

Revanth Reddy also criticized the BRS and BJP over the Musi Rejuvenation project.

He said the project could create jobs and support a nighttime economy in Hyderabad.

He said his government funded and completed the Steel Flyover after accusing the previous government of not funding it.

He also promised more metro rail and bridge projects in the Old City.
