SonaSPEED Motors Power ISRO-NASA Earth Observation Mission
Imagine a giant satellite going into space to watch the Earth!
This satellite, called NISAR, needs special motors to work.
These motors were made by a company called SonaSPEED.
The motors helped the satellite go up into space on a rocket.
The rocket launched on July 30th.
It is a joint project between the space agencies of India (ISRO) and the United States (NASA).
SonaSPEED Motors powered the NISAR mission.
GSLV-F16 lifted off from Satish Dhawan Space Centre on July 30.
Simplex Permanent Magnet Stepper Motors were used.
The motors were developed by SonaSPEED laboratories.
The mission is the first ISRO-NASA Earth Observation Mission.
