Iran Warns Strait of Hormuz Will Not Reopen Without Approval

Iran Warns Strait of Hormuz Will Not Reopen Without Approval

Iran and the United States are arguing while tensions in the Persian Gulf remain high.

Iranian lawmaker Esmail Kowsari said the United States appears confused because its messages keep changing.

He said the United States has discussed agreements and ceasefires but also military action and pressure over the Strait of Hormuz.

Kowsari admitted that Iran was hurt by US attacks.

However, he said the attacks did not achieve the goal of changing Iran’s government.

Ebrahim Azizi said Iran would decide when the Strait of Hormuz could reopen.

Israel warned that an Iranian attack would lead to Israeli strikes on Iranian infrastructure.

This means the situation could become more dangerous if the countries take further military action.
