Kangana Ranaut Questions Bollywood's 'Love Affair' With Pakistan

Kangana Ranaut is a famous actress in India who makes Hindi films and is also a politician.

She spoke before the release of a movie called Batwara 1947.

She said Bollywood, the Hindi film industry, seems to have a 'love affair' with Pakistan.

She pointed to filmmakers' films, statements, and interviews as examples.

She asked why this 'love story' with Pakistan has not ended even after so many years since Partition.

She said filmmakers are answerable for it.

She also said people in the film industry who cried over the Jantar Mantar protests should care about children in Jharkhand too.

Earlier, another actor, Naseeruddin Shah, said Bollywood actors did not speak up for protesting students.

Kangana replied on Instagram that she is proud to fight for the country that feeds her.

People connected their argument to a movie called Main Vaapas Aaunga, in which Shah's character is forced to leave his home in Pakistan after Partition.
