16 Indians enslaved at Myanmar-Thailand border
Some bad people tricked 16 Indians, including three from Hyderabad, by promising them jobs in Thailand.
Instead, they took them to the border between Myanmar and Thailand and made them work very hard, like 18-20 hours a day.
These Indians are not allowed to have their passports, phones, or even see a doctor if they get sick.
They are also being punished physically.
A man named Asaduddin Owaisi, who is a leader, found out about this and asked the government to help these Indians quickly.
16 Indian nationals, including three from Hyderabad (Mir Sajjad Ali from Osman Nagar, and two others from Maula Ali and Banjara Hills), were promised jobs in Thailand but taken to the Myanmar-Thailand border and enslaved.
They are forced to work 18-20 hours daily and are physically punished.
They are deprived of passports, phones, and medical facilities.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has sought urgent intervention from Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.
Owaisi described the situation as distressing and called for immediate action.
