CUET UG 2027 Could Become Shorter Under One-Day Plan
CUET UG is an entrance exam for students applying to undergraduate courses.
Officials are discussing changes that could make the 2027 exam shorter and easier to attend.
One idea is for each student to take all their chosen subjects on one day.
The exam could still take place over several days overall.
Each paper might also become shorter.
Students may be allowed to choose up to four subjects instead of five.
Groups of related subjects could be scheduled together.
These ideas are not final, so students should wait for an official announcement before changing their study plans.
A proposal under discussion could let CUET UG candidates take all their selected papers on one day.
The exam may still run across several days, with individual students attending on only one day.
Students choosing five subjects could potentially complete their papers in about 180 to 200 minutes.
Proposals also include reducing the maximum number of selected subjects from five to four.
The pattern has not been finalised; students are advised to wait for an official NTA notification.
