Apple’s Foldable iPhone May Debut September 9
Apple may show its first foldable iPhone at an event on September 9.
A foldable phone opens like a small book.
Reports say it could have one large screen inside and another screen outside.
It may be very thin when opened and have a hinge designed to reduce the visible crease.
Leaks also suggest it could use Apple’s next-generation A20 Pro chip and two back cameras.
The phone might keep MagSafe, which would let it work with some existing Apple accessories.
Experts think it could cost at least $2,000.
Apple has not confirmed the phone’s name, price or release date, so the reports may change.
Apple is widely expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone at its September 9 event.
The reportedly book-style device may feature 7.8-inch and 5.5-inch displays, a thinner body and a nearly crease-free hinge.
Leaks suggest the phone could use an A20 Pro chip, two rear cameras and possibly MagSafe wireless charging.
Analysts and research firms estimate a starting price of roughly $2,000 to $2,550.
The phone’s name, specifications, price and release date remain officially unconfirmed by Apple.
