CBI Calls Twisha Sharma Death Suicide as Evidence Review Continues
Twisha Sharma Death Case: CBI Calls It Suicide, Examines Phone Recording & Other Evidence · freepressjournal.in

Twisha Sharma, a former model and actress, died at her in-laws’ house in Bhopal on May 12.

The Central Bureau of Investigation says her death was suicide.

The agency based this conclusion partly on a forensic report from AIIMS.

However, the investigation is still continuing.

Investigators found a phone recording that may contain a conversation between her husband and mother-in-law about her.

Their voice samples have been sent for testing.

Phone data and CCTV footage are also being examined.

The CBI says these materials could reveal other people or witnesses.

Twisha’s husband and mother-in-law remain in judicial custody.

The agency may provide more details in a supplementary chargesheet.
