iOS 26 glitch turns Android photos red
Some people who use iPhones with iOS 26 are having a problem.
When they look at pictures taken with Android phones, the pictures turn red.
This happens in the Apple Photos app.
People have tried different Android phones like Motorola Razr and Samsung Galaxy S24, and the same thing happens.
Even pictures taken with an iPhone 15 look red when viewed on an iPhone 17.
When people zoom in, the pictures turn red, and when they try to crop them, the pictures turn black and white.
A temporary fix is to click on Edit and then Revert, but Apple hasn't said when they will fix this problem permanently.
This isn't the first issue with iOS 26.
People have also complained about slow performance, apps crashing, and the battery draining quickly.
There's also a new design called Liquid Glass that some people like, but others find it hard to read and distracting.
Apple has made some updates to give people more control over how Liquid Glass looks.
Earlier, Apple had to fix a camera bug in the iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone Air that made parts of pictures black.
They fixed that with an update.
iOS 26 users report photos from Android devices appear with a red filter in the Apple Photos app.
Affected devices include Motorola Razr, Samsung Galaxy S24, iPhone 15, and iPhone 17.
Symptoms include red filter when zooming and black and white images when cropping.
Temporary fix involves clicking Edit and then Revert in the Apple Photos app.
Apple has not yet acknowledged or provided a permanent fix for the issue.
