Peshawar High Court Seeks Afridi’s Response Over March Resources

Pakistan’s Peshawar High Court has asked Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi to respond to a complaint.

The complaint says government resources were used for political activities.

A lawyer said Afridi travelled by government helicopter to Lakki Marwat, where a PTI march began.

The court has not made a finding about the allegation.

PTI says the march is meant to press for the release of its founder, Imran Khan.

The party also wants to meet him and have his health checked.

The federal government has asked PTI to stop the march and says it cannot enter Islamabad.

Talks between the sides broke down over when PTI could meet Khan.
