HPBOSE to Implement Uniform Syllabus for Class 10
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is going to introduce a new plan called 'one school, one syllabus' for Class 10 students.
This means all government schools in Himachal Pradesh will teach the same chapters at the same time.
They will also have quarterly exams that will count towards the final results.
The goal is to make learning easier and less stressful for students.
The exams will have both regular questions and multiple-choice questions to help students prepare for competitive exams.
HPBOSE wants to be the first board in India to fully follow the National Education Policy (NEP) and improve its education ranking.
HPBOSE will introduce a uniform syllabus for Class 10 students from the upcoming academic year.
All government schools in Himachal Pradesh will adopt a uniform teaching schedule, covering the same chapters each quarter.
Quarterly exams will be conducted, including both subjective and objective questions, contributing to the final assessment.
The initiative aims to reduce academic stress, improve learning outcomes, and better prepare students for competitive exams.
HPBOSE aspires to be the first board in India to fully implement the National Education Policy (NEP).
