Rajasthan High Court Rejects Plea of Man Posing as Advocate

The Rajasthan High Court heard a case involving a man accused of pretending to be a lawyer.

He was accused of representing himself as an advocate in a trial court.

He asked the High Court to cancel the police complaint against him.

The court refused to cancel it.

Justice Ravi Chirania also ordered him to pay Rs 50,000.

The money must go to the Rajasthan High Court Advocate Clerks Association within one month.

The court said a person must be enrolled with the proper State Bar Council to practise as an advocate.

The man's request to withdraw his case was also viewed by the court as supporting the allegations in the FIR.
