Anahat Singh Wins World Junior Squash Championship

Anahat Singh, an 18-year-old from Delhi, has made history by becoming the first Indian to win the World Junior Squash Championship.

She beat Egypt's Ruqayya Salem in a one-sided final.

This victory is a big deal because it ends Egypt's 13-year dominance in the girls' event and shows that India is becoming a strong force in squash.

Anahat's family, including her parents and sister, have been a big support in her journey.

Many important people, like the Prime Minister and business leaders, have congratulated her.

This win is also special because squash will be in the Olympics for the first time in 2028, and Anahat is now seen as a top medal prospect for India.
