Madhya Pradesh Removes Deputy CM’s OSD Amid Liquor Contract Allegations

Madhya Pradesh removed Deepam Raichura from an extra job as an aide to Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda.

This happened after a statement linked to businessman Mohit Gogia made claims about money and two liquor-shop contracts in Bhopal.

The statement alleged that Rs 1 crore was paid to get the contracts.

The allegations have not been independently checked.

Devda said he had ordered an inquiry.

He also said Raichura was not working as his aide when the alleged events happened.

The government order said Raichura’s additional charge ended immediately.

The articles do not say what the inquiry found.
