Telangana Launches Mission K-100 for Paddy Procurement
The Telangana government has started a special plan called Mission K-100 to make it easier to buy and store rice.
They want to fix problems like not having enough space in warehouses and getting money that is owed to them.
A new leader from the Food Corporation of India is helping.
The plan has five parts: quickly moving old rice, making more money from what they have, getting money that is owed, using better machines to buy rice, and using trucks with GPS to move rice faster.
This will help farmers and make the whole process smoother.
Telangana launched Mission K-100, a 100-day action plan to improve paddy procurement and storage systems.
New FCI General Manager Anuj Tyagi discussed coordination and pending issues with Civil Supplies Commissioner M Stephen Raveendra.
The plan includes five missions: expediting milling and transportation, improving liquidity, financial recovery, modernizing procurement centers, and enhancing transportation.
Regional workshops are scheduled to expedite the clearance of pending subsidies and transport charges.
The initiative aims to reduce dependence on manual labor and lower costs through automation and better transportation management.
