FASTag Annual Pass Launches August 15 for Commuters
Starting August 15, 2025, Indian commuters can get a new annual FASTag pass to pay tolls.
It's not required if you already use FASTag.
To get it, your car needs to pass some checks.
It's only for cars, jeeps, and vans that aren't used for business.
If you have the pass, you can use it on national highways and expressways, but not necessarily on state roads.
The pass is also only for one car and can't be shared with others.
Annual FASTag Pass launches August 15, 2025, for daily commuters.
Pass is not mandatory; existing FASTag system continues.
Eligibility includes vehicle checks and valid FASTag display.
Applicable to private, non-commercial vehicles only.
Valid at National Highway and National Expressway fee plazas.
