Dixon Targets Aerospace, Defence and Automotive Growth

Dixon Technologies makes electronic products and wants to grow into new areas.

These areas include aerospace, defence, cars, medical equipment and industrial products.

The company also wants to make more parts itself instead of buying them from others.

It plans to expand partnerships in computers, phones and telecommunications.

Dixon expects new display and camera factories to slowly help its profits.

Its camera-module capacity could rise from 70 million units to as many as 190 million units.

The company is considering a partnership with Taiwan’s Gemtek Technology to make optical transceivers.

It also wants to build stronger engineering skills and serve the growing demand for data centres and AI equipment.
