CNH India plans major investment to boost tractor exports

CNH India plans major investment to boost tractor exports

CNH India makes tractors and other farm machines.

The company wants India to become a bigger center for making and exporting tractors.

It plans to spend ₹2,000 crore in India by 2030.

CNH also wants to make twice as many tractors as it does now.

More than 11,000 tractors are already sent from India to countries and regions around the world each year.

Some of the investment will support new technology, including connected equipment and precision farming tools.

The company also makes harvesters, combines and balers at its Pune facility.

CNH expects farmers to keep needing machines, but poor weather and lower rural incomes could slow tractor purchases in the short term.
