Medha's death puts Bengaluru's damaged roads under scrutiny

A lady named Medha was going to work on a scooter with a friend in Bengaluru, a big city in India.

Another car stopped very suddenly, so their scooter slipped and fell.

A small truck came from the other side and sadly ran over Medha.

She was taken to the hospital, but the doctors could not save her.

Medha was 32 years old, had a husband and a three-year-old child, and worked for a government office.

After this sad accident, many people who live nearby came together to protest.

They said the roads were full of holes and broken because of pipe work under the ground.

The roads were so bad that people had to use the same damaged road every day.

The city's water officer said the road work would be finished soon and he promised to fix the roads.

This tragedy made many people worry about how safe city roads are for everyone.
