Air India CEO Summoned Over Phuket-Delhi Flight Incident

A plane that was flying from Phuket to Delhi suddenly dropped in the sky by about 300 feet, like an elevator that goes down too fast.

This happened on August 4, and 17 people got hurt and were taken to the hospital.

The people investigating are from a group called the AAIB, and they have special boxes from the plane that recorded what happened during the flight.

The airline's boss, Mr. Campbell Wilson, met with government safety officials in New Delhi to talk about it.

Both pilots were told to stop flying while checks are done, and they had to take special tests.

The airplane maker, Airbus, and a French team are also helping with the investigation.
