Delhi MP Attacked by Slipper Thrower During Press Conference
A man named Sumit went to Delhi from Bulandshahr to fix a vehicle.
While he was there, he went to a press conference where MP Pappu Yadav was speaking.
Sumit was upset because Yadav talked about a skit that might have insulted Lord Ram.
He threw a slipper at Yadav, and a fight started between Yadav’s supporters and Sumit.
The police are looking into why this happened, but they have not said anything official yet.
A 34‑year‑old man from Bulandshahr, identified as Sumit, hurled a slipper at MP Pappu Yadav during a press conference at Yadav’s Delhi residence on Sunday.
The attacker had no prior criminal record, according to Delhi Police sources.
Another man, Happy, was present in an SUV parked outside the residence during the incident.
