Armed Gang Robs House in Telangana

A group of eight armed men broke into a house in Karimnagar, Telangana, on Tuesday night.

They threatened the family with knives and revolvers, tying them up and stealing 66 tolas of gold, Rs 21 lakh in cash, and 10 tolas of silver.

The robbers also took two motorbikes and the family's mobile phones to prevent them from calling for help.

Police suspect the robbers escaped through the Vemulawada bypass and are investigating the incident.

This is the second major robbery in Karimnagar in less than three months, with the previous one involving the notorious Subodh Singh gang from Bihar.
