MP Minister Warns Against Love Jihad, Praises Culture-Protecting Gen Z

Madhya Pradesh minister Vishvas Sarang spoke at a Ganpati celebration.

He warned that people involved in what he called “love jihad” would not be spared.

He used the word “Mughli” while making that warning.

He also criticized what he described as Mughal and British mindsets.

Sarang said young people should help the country.

He praised the young people attending the event for staying connected to Indian culture.

He called these culture-protecting young people India’s “real Gen Z.” His comments became controversial.
