IMD predicts moderate rainfall across Gujarat until August 14

The weather office in India, called the IMD, has told people in Gujarat that it will rain there in the coming week.

The rain will be light or medium, not very heavy.

It is expected across the whole state until August 14.

On August 8 and 9, some places in the north and middle of Gujarat may have thunderstorms.

Thunderstorms come with loud thunder, lightning, and windy weather.

The wind could blow at 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Earlier, Gujarat had a red alert, which is a very serious heavy rain warning.

That red alert ended on August 2.

Right now there is no red alert, so the rain should be gentler, but people should still be careful and stay safe indoors during thunder and lightning.
