Uttar Pradesh Begins Paddy Procurement in Eastern Regions November 1

The government in Uttar Pradesh is starting to buy rice (paddy) from farmers in the eastern part of the state.

This buying will happen from November 1st until the end of February next year.

The government has also decided to pay farmers more money for their rice this year.

They will pay Rs 2,369 for regular rice and Rs 2,389 for special rice per bag.

Farmers need to sign up on a special website or app to sell their rice.

Over 2 lakh farmers have already signed up.

In the western part of the state, farmers have already sold a lot of rice.

The government promises to pay the farmers within two days after they sell their rice.

There are many places set up where farmers can sell their rice.
