Rains Bring Relief to Farmers Across Erstwhile Adilabad District

Rain fell in several parts of the erstwhile Adilabad district.

This helped farmers who were worried about their crops.

Cotton and soya crops growing in red soil needed rain after 15 dry days.

The cotton crop in black soil was reported to be doing well.

Komaram Bheem Asifabad received the most rain, measuring 34.8 millimetres.

Other areas also received useful amounts of rain.

Some farmers use drip or sprinkler systems to water their crops.

Farmers without irrigation are depending on more rain to keep their crops healthy.
