Baahubali: The Epic Re-release Crosses ₹30 Crore Amidst Declining Collections
Remember the epic Indian movie Baahubali?
Well, they took the two movies and mashed them into one super-long movie called 'Baahubali: The Epic' to celebrate its 10th birthday!
It came out on October 31st.
It made a lot of money when it first came out, about ₹10 crore on its first weekend.
But, like many movies, fewer people are going to see it now, and it's making less money each day.
On its seventh day, it only made about ₹1 crore.
Even with fewer people coming, it has still earned over ₹30 crore in total in India.
Some movie experts are watching to see if more people will watch it during the week or if it will only be for the biggest fans.
The filmmakers also mentioned that a new animated Baahubali movie, 'Baahubali – The Eternal War', is coming out, but it's not the next live-action movie, 'Baahubali 3'.
'Baahubali: The Epic', a re-edited single-film version of the original two movies, has crossed ₹30 crore at the Indian box office.
The film was released on October 31 as part of the franchise's tenth-anniversary celebrations.
Despite a strong opening weekend, the movie has witnessed a declining trend in earnings since Monday.
On its seventh day, the film reportedly earned an estimated ₹1 crore net in India.
Makers also announced an upcoming animated film, 'Baahubali – The Eternal War', clarifying it is not 'Baahubali 3'.
