Komatireddy Urges Youth to Follow Gandhi’s Ideals

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy asked people, especially young people, to follow Mahatma Gandhi’s ideas.

He spoke on Gandhi’s birth anniversary in Nalgonda.

Reddy paid tribute to Gandhi by putting a garland on his statue at Ramagiri.

He said Gandhi helped India gain independence through peaceful actions.

He also said Gandhi opposed caste discrimination and supported respect among religions.

Gandhi believed villages should have a role in governing themselves.

Reddy said the state government had decided to include a Gandhi statue in the Gandhi Sarovar project near the Musi River.

District Collector B. Chandrasekhar said Gandhi’s ideas could help people work toward equality and gender parity.
