Helmet Saves Motorist as Flyover Pipe Falls in Hyderabad
A man was riding in Hyderabad when a big pipe suddenly fell from a bridge above him.
The pipe hit the ground near him, but he was not hurt.
His helmet protected his head, and he said he was saved by god's grace.
A video of the near-miss was shared online, and many people saw it as a sign that the city was not taking care of its bridges.
The pipe was part of the drainage system that carries rainwater into the greenery below.
It was clogged with dust and garbage.
Recent rains made water build up and weaken the pipe until it collapsed.
Other pipes on the bridge had cracks too.
City workers checked the bridge and said they will replace the damaged pipes quickly.
