Medical Colleges to Adopt Face-Based Attendance System
Imagine teachers at medical schools now have to use their phones to show they are at work.
Instead of punching a card, they will use their faces to prove they are there.
The government is making this change, starting October 1st.
Teachers will use a special app on their phones.
This new system replaces the old one where they used fingerprints or cards.
This way, it's easier to keep track of who is at work, and it's more accurate.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) is implementing a new attendance system.
The new system uses face-based mobile Aadhaar authentication.
The changeover will begin on October 1st.
Faculty members must install an app on their mobile phones.
The previous biometric attendance system will be discontinued.
