Srikkanth Calls India's Afghanistan Squad Selection a Mistake

K. Srikkanth does not agree with India’s team selection for Afghanistan.

He thinks the team may have been chosen because people were afraid to leave out certain players.

Srikkanth questioned whether one player was truly fit to play.

That player had not played in Sri Lanka but was considered ready two weeks later.

Srikkanth said a doctor’s certificate alone should not prove match fitness.

He believes players should play some matches first.

He also said Washington Sundar gets injured too often.

Because of these concerns, Srikkanth called the selection a mistake.
