Miami Airport Evacuated Over Suspicious Bag
A lot of people were suddenly told to leave parts of Miami International Airport on Sunday evening.
This happened because a bag was left alone in the departures area, and no one knew who it belonged to.
People were scared and ran out quickly, and there were no clear instructions.
Several flights were delayed or canceled.
This is the second time in a few days that something like this has happened at the same airport.
The first time, a man made a joke about a bomb, and he was arrested.
No one knows yet what exactly happened this time, but people are being told to check with their airlines for updates.
Later, the authorities said it was safe, and people could go back inside.
Thousands of passengers and staff evacuated Miami International Airport's South Terminal due to a suspicious unattended bag.
The evacuation began around 6pm local time, affecting TSA checkpoints for concourses G, H, and J.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office gave the all-clear after investigating the item, and checkpoints were reopened.
Several flights were delayed as a result of the security operation.
This evacuation came just days after another security scare at the same airport involving a passenger's remark about a bomb.
