NHM Warns Bank Changes Could Delay Aadhaar-Linked Salary Payments

National Health Mission employees in Andhra Pradesh are being asked not to change their bank accounts unnecessarily.

Their salaries are sent to bank accounts connected to their Aadhaar details.

If someone changes accounts before linking the new account properly, the payment system may not know where to send the money.

This can delay salaries for many employees covered by the same bill.

Officials said the affected payments may involve about ₹60–70 crore.

Fixing mismatches between bank and Aadhaar records can take time.

Employees who must change accounts should link Aadhaar to the new account first.

They should also check that their name and account details match their employment records.
