Indore Relaunches Organised Transport With Electric AC Buses

Indore has restarted its organised public bus service after almost 20 years.

The new buses use electricity instead of conventional fuel.

They have air conditioning to make journeys more comfortable.

Cameras and live tracking are meant to improve safety and monitoring.

Women can use panic buttons in emergencies.

Passengers will be able to pay digitally or through UPI.

Special passes will be available for students and differently-abled passengers.

The buses will connect Indore with several cities, and the fleet may eventually grow to 150 buses.
