BSE Warns Investors as International ETFs Trade Above NAV

BSE Warns Investors as International ETFs Trade Above NAV

Some international ETFs are being sold for more money than the assets they represent are worth.

This difference is called a premium to NAV.

BSE said the value of the overseas assets has stayed broadly stable.

However, there are not enough new ETF units being created because mutual funds have reached their overseas investment limits.

This limited supply can make prices rise.

If supply increases, ETF prices could drop suddenly.

A similar correction could happen when a new price-band rule takes effect in 2027.

BSE advised investors to check the NAV before buying.
