Surat Men Facilitated Massive International Cyber Fraud
Some men in Surat helped cybercriminals from other countries steal a lot of money.
They tricked people applying for loans into letting them open bank accounts.
These accounts were then used to move over 1,455 crore rupees for online scams, like pretending to be arrested digitally or running stock market and gambling scams.
The Surat men got a commission for each transaction, earning them a large sum, and now the police are investigating.
