Telangana Collectors Honored for Water Conservation
In Telangana, collectors from Adilabad, Mancherial, and Nirmal districts won big awards for making their districts great at saving water.
People were super happy and celebrated with dances.
The President and a minister gave them the awards and some money for their districts.
Adilabad, Mancherial, and Nirmal district collectors received national awards for water conservation
Adilabad and Mancherial collectors received top ranks in South Zone and ₹2 crore each
Nirmal collector secured second place nationally and received ₹1 crore
Residents and officials celebrated the collectors' achievements
Awards were presented by President Droupadi Murmu and Union jal shakti minister C. R. Patil
