Adani Merges Companies to Expand MRO Business
The Adani Group is merging two of its companies, Air Works and Indamer, to become bigger in the aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) business.
This means they will take care of more planes, both for regular flights and defense.
They already bought Air Works for Rs 400 crore and Indamer through another company.
They plan to do more things like fixing landing gears, painting planes, and even training pilots.
They are also going to open new places in Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati to do this work.
The Adani Group is spending a lot of money, $11 billion, to make airports better and $90 million to train pilots.
This is important because many new planes are coming to India soon, and they need to be taken care of.
Adani Group is merging Air Works and Indamer to expand its MRO business.
The new vertical will cater to both civil and defense aviation.
Adani Group acquired Air Works for Rs 400 crore and Indamer through ADSTL.
Plans include expanding services to landing gear overhaul, aircraft painting, and engine maintenance.
New MRO bases are planned in Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati.
