Ego Nwodim Departs SNL, Cites Show as 'Stepping Stone'

Ego Nwodim, who was on Saturday Night Live for seven years, is leaving the show.

She said that being on SNL was always meant to be a starting point, like a step toward something else.

She wants to do more directing and writing.

This news came during the Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York City.

She shared on social media that she would be leaving.

A lot of other cast members are also leaving SNL, so the show will have many new faces next season.
