Tharoor Calls ‘Quockerwodger’ Word of Era, Targets Ruling Party

Shashi Tharoor shared an unusual word called “quockerwodger.”

It originally meant a wooden toy puppet moved by strings.

Later, it came to describe a person who follows someone else’s instructions.

Tharoor called it the “word of our era.”

He also suggested that the ruling party has produced some people like this.

The article says he may have been referring to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

However, Tharoor did not explain exactly whom he meant.

He is famous for using difficult English words.

He has also admitted that he recently made a small grammar mistake in a birthday message to Narendra Modi.
